ForTheRecord launches new FTR-as-a-Service Program for Law Enforcement

Phoenix, AZ, Apr 29, 2011 — ForTheRecord (FTR), a global leader in digital recording and content management solutions for judicial and public safety venues, today launched the FTR as a Service (FTRaaS) Program – the-first pay-as-you-go monthly software service model for the law enforcement digital recording market.

FTR has introduced this alternative monthly pricing program in response to the current economic climate and resulting budgetary constraints faced by the law enforcement agencies across the country.  The FTRaaS Program enables clients to subscribe to FTR software solutions and treat them as an ongoing operating expense, instead of an upfront capital investment, thereby providing greater flexibility in how they utilize available funds.  Further, since the program automatically includes 24x7 telephone support and free future software upgrades, law enforcement agencies can be assured of having the most comprehensive solution package for their interview rooms.

Joel Wax, Sales Director at Electronic Business Systems and an FTR Partner, said “The FTRaaS Program has been launched at a time when agencies are facing significant budgetary challenges.  We believe the monthly pricing option can alleviate these concerns and are ready to market this program aggressively.”

“ForTheRecord is widely known for its product and technology leadership in this industry,” said Daniel Bennett, Executive Vice President of FTR.  “Through the FTRaaS Program, we are innovating to help law enforcement clients overcome budgetary challenges and acquire solutions that will increase productivity and process efficiencies.”

The FTRaaS Program includes the FTR Interrogator product suite – a two-channel, digital audio-video recording and management solution for law enforcement agencies.
